This is an original artwork of the Golden Hind, which is a mythical creature that protects the forest and glows with gold. Zeus killed them off due to their blood causing weakness in the Gods. The Golden Hind was immortal but not impervious to death and injury. Due to this mortals hunted and killed them for their gold pelts and blood. Zeus instead of protecting them chose to make them instinct to create more security for him and his kin. I thought this was a very sad story and unfair to the Golden Hinds that protected the forests. I wanted to draw a picture of their beauty and the show of unfair treatment. One should never sacrifice someone else's live to feel saver in theirs.
